About this module
Education is the antidote to stigma, but in a world flooded with online content, not all information is reliable. This module helps you become a skilled, critical seeker of mental health information. You will learn the risks and benefits of the internet and social media, a 5-point reliability check, the promise and dangers of AI chatbots, where to find trustworthy government programmes, charities, books, films and helplines, and how confirmation bias and cyberchondria can mislead us. Above all, you will learn to avoid the 'research loop trap' and turn information into action.
