About this module
Everyone has mental health, but not everyone has a mental illness. This free opening module replaces the old idea of mental health as a synonym for illness with a strengths-based view: mental health is a dynamic resource that every one of us has, and that we can actively nurture. You will look at the scale of mental health needs in India, take apart common myths, explore the two-way link between mind and body, and learn the pillars of wellbeing and the daily habits that support them. You will finish with an introduction to mental health literacy, the set of skills this whole programme is designed to build.
